Let Your Yes Be Yes

Do Not Swear At All.
33 "Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to the Lord.' 34 But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God's throne; 35 nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. 36 Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. 37 But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.' For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
Matthew 5:33-37
Whatever you swear with, you are bound to pay with, if your oath proves false. Since the heaven, earth or your hairs are not yours, you should not swear with them. You cannot pay for something with what belongs to another person.
He is not yet reliable, whose yes is not yes and whose no is not no.
Even the least yeast enleavens the whole lot. Likewise, the least evil can develop into a great and terrible evil. In other words, avoid evil, even the least of it.
“If it were possible, I would suggest that everybody do computer programming,” said a computer software engineer. “By so doing people shall understand how correct Jesus is by saying that people should not swear. Then, you will be alarmed how a computer detects so many errors in a few pages of code, which you think you have correctly written.”
Every man of wisdom does not entangle himself in the illusive world of matter. He frees himself
from every bondage and hindrance. For none can be perfect without the Holy Spirit from God. Hence,
none is righteous for righteousness belongs to God and comes from Him, who imparts the same to His children by the
Holy Spirit.
All actions are performed by the forces of nature, by the Holy Spirit. Always give glory to God
